2020 marks fifteen years of continuous uninterrupted service from the W4AVA repeater system, except for scheduled maintenance. Our repeater system provides secure, reliable coverage for the National Capital Region.
W4AVA’s amateur radio system is the most powerful in the Nation’s Capital. It covers the metropolitan Washington, DC, region; Northern Virginia and suburban Maryland utilizing multiple remote receivers which provide superior support to both mobile and pedestrian hand-held operators.
